ARIADNES HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION I & II, (the ‘business’ or ‘we’) which created the website www.ariadnes.gr (the ‘website’), offer their services under the following terms of use. The visitor/user of the pages of the website (‘you’) is requested to carefully read the following terms and proceed to visit/use the pages/services provided that he/she has fully agreed. Both the existing and any other new services included on the website are subjected to these terms of use, unless it is explicitly stated otherwise.

Privacy policy

The privacy policy is outlined at /privacy-policy.

In the case of links to other websites, the website holds no responsibility for the terms of management and protection of personal data that the others follow.

Limitation of liability

The business makes an effort to ensure that all information and data included in the website are correct and complete. However, given the nature and volume of the Internet, under any circumstances, including the case of negligence, the business holds no responsibility to any kind of damage the visitor/user has of pages, services, choices and content of the website which he/she has proceeded with his/her initiative.

The business makes every effort to make the website safe for its users nevertheless it cannot guarantee for any program or data on it  to be free from harmful codes/viruses or other items having disruptive features  to the user’s/visitor’s computer system. It is the user’s exclusive responsibility to apply anti-virus software and to safeguard their information and computer system.

In addition, the business holds no responsibility for third party content connected to links.
The visitor/user of the website ought to comply with the Greek and International Law regulations and to abstain from any illegal and opposing morality.

Reservations

By making a reservation, you declare full knowledge and unconditional acceptance of the hotel’s accommodation, booking, payment and cancellation policies. Prices are given in Euros, per studio or apartment and per night.

Any child between six and twelve (6-12), if using an extra bed, there is a charge of 5€.  Any child over 12 years old or adult is charged 10€ if using an extra bed. For every extra person over the age of 12 the cost is 10€.

All published prices include 13% VAT and municipal tax of 0.5%, and may change without notice. The rate does not include the Specific Night Fee of 0.50€ per room per night, which is paid only in cash on the client’s departure.

Offers are subjected to availability and cannot be combined with other offers. In any case, you must inform us at the time of your booking. To fully complete your reservation, you must deposit 30% of the total amount of your stay, with the minimum amount of the cost of one (1) overnight stay.

For non-refundable bookings, the full amount of the reservation is changed at the same time as the booking reservation, and no modifications and cancellations are allowed. The full amount is paid upon arrival or during your stay.

Once you have completed the online booking process, you will receive an automatic reservation confirmation via email. Please IMMEDIATELY make sure your confirmation details (name, date of departure, destination etc) are correct and inform the hotel management if you find mistakes.

Cash payments, bank transfers, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard credit cards are accepted. You must inform the hotel upon arrival if you wish an invoice to be issued for your stay.  Deposits must be made within three (3) working days since the hotel has given to the customer  its bank account details (the hotel will have sent a relevant email containing all the necessary payment details) otherwise the reservation is cancelled without further notice and the room will be vacant.

The hotel has the right when receiving a booking to pre-authorize the customer’s credit card, and the right to cancel the booking if the credit card details are not valid. A copy of the deposit receipt must be directly sent to the hotel (by email or fax) and in any case no later than three days before arrival. On the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation is pre-authorized on your credit card and on the departure date the full amount is charged.

Arrival / Departure

Once you arrive at the hotel, you must have your booking code, ID or passport and the charged or pre-authorized credit card at hand.

Unless otherwise noted in your reservation, check-in time is 14:00 and check-out time is 12:00. The possibility of extending your check-out time depends on the hotel’s availability and is subjected to an additional cost as follows:

• Check-out till 18:00 is subjected to 50% of the amount of the day rate.
• Check-out after 18:00 is subjected to 100% of the amount of the day rate.

In any case, you ought to notify your request upon arrival at the latest.

Rooms that have been confirmed bookings either by deposit or have an advance pre-payment or pre-authorized credit cards will be held until 23:00 on the date of arrival, unless you have informed the hotel otherwise. In cases of non deposit or non pre-authorized credit cards bookings, the reservation is considered to be unconfirmed.

Cancellation

Once having completed the online booking process, the user receives an automatic booking confirmation by email. A hyperlink is included in the text of the message, which should be used by the user if he/she wishes to cancel his/her reservation.

If you have a problem or have accidently deleted this email, please contact the hotel using the contact form on the website or by phone. Customers are asked to promptly inform in written form about any changes or cancellations regarding their reservation as soon as possible.

In the case of a booking cancellation which has been made in more than 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, there is no cancellation cost and the hotel will refund the amount if there has been a deposit.

For booking cancellations less than 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the customer is charged 30% of the full amount of their stay according to the reservation.

In cases of upon arrival cancellations, during the stay or no show, the customer is charged 100% of the stay according to the reservation.

In exceptional circumstances, the hotel has the right to cancel a reservation or change, substitute or withdraw any service, facility or amenity without notice, if it is necessary. In this case, the hotel is obliged to refund the amount you have deposited, and will make every effort to secure accommodation in another hotel of the same category, in the same town that offers similar facilities and amenities.

For non-refundable reservations, the full amount of the reservation is charged at the same time of the booking confirmation, and modifications and cancellations are not allowed.

Children and pets

Babies and children under 12 are free of charge provided that they sleep in their parent’s bed.  Baby cots are provided free of charge, depending on availability. Any type of extra bed or baby cot is provided upon request and after having the relevant confirmation from the hotel office.

Children between 6 and 12 are charged 5€ per night, if they are using an extra bed. Any child over 12 or an adult is charged 10€ per night if they are using an extra bed.

All children staying at the hotel must be accompanied and under adult supervision.

Our hotel does not accept pets.

Compensation

It is hereby explicitly agreed that in the event of any action, claim, an administrative or judicial action arising out of any form of infringement of the user/visitor of the website which is brought against the business, the user/visitor who committed the breach, not only undertakes the relevant procedure but also compensates the business in the event it is obliged to pay compensation or other expense.

Additional information

Payments are made either by a bank deposit or by credit card at the time of the booking. In the case of cancellation, deposits are not refunded.

Bookings are according to the room type and duration of stay. If we need to transfer you to a different room whose price is lower than that of your reservation, the hotel is obliged to refund the difference in price.

Applicable law and other terms

This agreement is ruled by the provisions of the Greek law, the instructions and regulations of the European Law and the relevant International provisions; it is interpreted based on the rules of good faith, commercial morals and economic and social purpose of right.

If a provision is found to be unlawful and therefore invalid or void, it ceases to be valid, without in any case ceasing the other terms’ validity.

No modification of the terms of this agreement will be taken into account and part of it, unless it has been written and has also been incorporated into it.

Courts of Mytelene are the official courts for possible disputes arising from this agreement.
